This pretty quilt dates to the 1930's, and has a real country cottage feel to it. The front of the quilt is made from a pretty sprigged cotton, in a yellow and pink sweet pea print. The back is a rose cotton, which also acts as a binding. The quilt has a warm layer of wool inside it, and is finely quilted in a zigzag design to keep the layers together. It is machine washable.

These quilts look wonderful folded over the back of a sofa, piled up on a blanket box, or layered with simple white bedlinen for a nostalgic bedroom.

The quilt has been loved and used for many years, and has signs of age, but no major flaws. It measures a generous 60" by 80".
