Dating to the late 1930's, this exquisite gown is made from a heavy lustrous satin, as rich as Cornish cream. The shoulders are a seductive contrast of cream lace, scalloped along the bodice edge. The bodice has pearl edging and an adorable pearl bow in the centre. The sleeves are cut very slim, and tapered into pointed cuffs which popper shut for sleek look. The dress is a flattering princess line cut, with a W shaped waistline. The back of the dress has 24 small satin covered buttons, as was traditional in this period for wedding gowns. The skirt is cut fairly straight at the front, but swirls into a full train at the back to ensure your exit is as dramatic as your entrance. This dress is in excellent condition for its age, with just a faint pink stain near the hem of the skirt (as shown in the ninth photo). When laid flat, it measures as follows: £350.00 This price includes recorded delivery within the UK. Use the button below to purchase online.
